Learning Paths in ABA

“There is wide breadth of academic paths and work experiences that lead our staff to their current roles in Applied Behaviour Analysis. From Registered Behaviour Analysts and Supervised Instructor Therapists to our Operations Coordinator and Students, a common passion for supporting children’s growth is always highly valued.”
Jill Bernhard, Operations Coordinator
There can be just as many different motivations for wanting to learn more about ABA. A number of caregivers are curious about learning the basics to best understand and support a family member. A number of graduates are seeking a meaningful application for their academic studies in fields such as psychology, child development or health sciences. A portion pursue experience to supplement postgraduate studies in ABA. Others have had experience in adjacent fields such as Early Childhood Education or Public Education and are searching for evidence-based approaches, or how to have a one-to-one impact.
A fabulous explanation of the variety of formal academic paths and institutions where Applied Behaviour Analysis are offered, both full and part time, can be found at Homepage – Future in ABA. A more flexible and concise, ABA Foundational Training Course is available online and temporarily funded by the Ministry Child, Community and Social Services . Alternatively, chat with a bitKIDS Team member about their journey or read more about their path on the bitKIDS webite.
