Project ImPACT may be for you if:
- You are looking to embed strategies into your daily life to support your child’s development.
- You would like to support your child’s social, communication, imitation, and play skills.
- You are looking for a naturalistic approach.
A bit about Project ImPACT:
Project ImPACT is an individualized and collaborative coaching program for parents who have young children with social communication delays or a diagnosis of autism (Project ImPACT WP Engine Prod., 2024). The program was codeveloped by a behaviour analyst and a speech language pathologist. Throughout the program you as a parent work collaboratively with your coach to develop individualized goals for your child and learn strategies which can be used to help your child develop their social engagement skills, communication skills, imitation and play skills. This is a naturalistic developmental behavioural intervention supported by research. Teaching occurs within play, your daily routines and activities; allowing your child to practice their skills where it matters most.
