Meet Kat Chanthalyma

At bitKIDS Behaviour Consulting, we’re thrilled to highlight Kat Chanthalyma, BHS, G.Cert ABS, a dedicated Supervised Instructor Therapist whose commitment to compassionate, research-based practice enriches the work we do with children and families every day.
Kat’s journey into Applied Behaviour Analysis began through her work with the City of Kitchener’s adapted aquatics program, where she was first introduced to ABA principles and inspired to pursue this field professionally. Since 2017, she has supported one-on-one ABA therapy under the guidance of RBAs, gaining experience across diverse areas.
In addition to her clinical role, Kat serves as a Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) Employee Representative, advocating for the health, safety, and well-being of her colleagues at bitKIDS. Her leadership in this role reflects her deep care for both families and team members alike.
Outside of work, Kat’s interests include reading (she’s an avid reader who can breeze through multiple books in a day), video games, hiking, yoga, Pilates, and horror movies. She values meaningful connection, celebrating friends’ wins, and setting personal “side quests” to grow and learn throughout the year.
We’re grateful to have Kat as part of the bitKIDS team—bringing professionalism, heart, and joy to all she does.
