Hello! My name is Gifty Owusu and I am a Supervised Instructor Therapist at bitKIDS.

My journey into ABA began when completing my Honours Bachelor of Science in Disability and Rehabilitation Studies from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. I am committed to making an impact in the world of ABA and have completed my MA in Applied Disability Studies with a specialization in Applied Behaviour Analysis at Brock University. I have over 2 years of experience working with verbal and non-verbal children, youth, and adults on the spectrum, both in centers and at home. I have supervised experience and enjoy training parents, running assessments, running and developing skill acquisition programs, and behaviour reduction programs. I also hold certificates in safety care, non-violent crisis intervention, standard first aid and CPI, PECS (level 1). I am very passionate about working with children and using the principles of ABA to improve life outcomes. I am striving to become BCBA certified and hope to pursue PhD studies in future.
